They Only Come Out At Night

And only then when being besieged by full moonlight at midnight—or rather stage lights.

Guitar finishes; the Final Frontier, when ordering your new guitar. These are the voyages of Starry Night Black, Pro Am T. More accurately, these are the Guitar Tales of this Starry Night Black, Pro Am T.

Its mission: To boldly tell tales and see pictures of a finish that’s never been properly photographed before. To seek out new lighting and new images of…Starry Night Black.

So yeah, maybe we did have to borrow the Hubble telescope from NASA to get these shots…or maybe we didn’t. Either way…we hope you enjoy the journey to the outer reaches of the inner realm of Anderson Guitarworks, as we go into orbit around this Starry Night Black, Pro Am T.

And as a special, out-of-this-world, treat we included a sighting of Halley’s Tommy’s comet. But really, take note of the plasma tail on the lower left of two of the shots. Actually it is just a side lighting flare but we thought it was so fun and so comet-like that we wanted to share it with you. This is what reflected light can do when landing on the surface at just the right angle.

And what is up at Dave’s Guitar Shop—again this week!? This is the second Guitar Tales in a row (see last week’s here) for these genius outfitters as this Pro Am T was specced for their shop by Brett and Tylor—and most likely approved by Jordan. These guys…So on it!

Swamp Ash tonalities underpin its sound signature as another round of PH1 and HC1+ pickups listen intently and beautifully while imparting their sonic “wisdom” to your favorite amp for pristine tones of power and vintage demeanor. All commanded by a traditional 3-Way and 2 Cut (power) mini switches for a total of 8 awe-inspiring tonal entities—and yes, all hum-canceling.

Flip it around and you get a glimpse of its Rosewood neck back and supporting Blackheart fingerboard—relaying a strong and fundamental low-mid dominance to the ultra musical and open Swamp Ash foundation—not to mention its dark brown cool factor accompanying this Black as Night finish.

And what a nice touch to highlight the headstock with a silver logo that supplements starlight.

Now boldly go and be glad for Starry Night Black has risen.
